Privacy policy

Big Dawg Dynasty is an app from Big Dawg Fantasy (“we”). This policy says what we collect, why, who else sees it, and how to delete it.
The app is in beta. It changes often, and data may be reset or lost while we build it.
What we collect
Some of this applies only when you use the feature it names.
- Your Google account. When you sign in with Google, we get your name, email address and profile photo. Google also sends sign-in tokens, which we keep with your account and use only to sign you in. We never see your Google password.
- Your Sleeper username. The username you link, your Sleeper user ID and your Sleeper profile photo. We never ask for your Sleeper password.
- Your settings. Choices you make in the app, such as each league’s status and type, your tab order and your defaults.
- Money you enter. League dues, payouts and notes you track. The app only records them. It never holds or moves money.
- Your labels. Labels and notes you put on managers and leagues.
- Feedback. Bug reports and ideas you send, with any screenshots you attach, and your ratings and votes. If you speak your feedback, we keep the text, never the recording.
- Screenshots you import. When you import a trade or dues from a screenshot, an outside service reads the image once, and we don’t keep the image. We keep the text it read for up to 30 days, privately, to improve matching, then delete it. We save only what you confirm.
- How you use the app. Which screens and features you use, so we can see what works.
- Payments. When paid plans start, Stripe handles payment. We never see or store your card number. We keep your plan and whether it’s paid.
- Sign-in details. When you sign in, we record your IP address and browser with your session, to keep your account secure.
Sleeper league data, such as leagues, rosters, matchups, trades and players, is public. We read it from Sleeper and keep copies so the app is fast. It isn’t stored as your personal data, and nothing you do here changes anything in Sleeper.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your data with your account on every device.
- To show your leagues and run the tools in the app.
- To fix problems and improve the app.
- To answer you when you write to us.
We don’t sell your data. We don’t show ads, and we don’t share your data for advertising.
Who else sees it
- Only you see your labels, notes, league settings and money. Other users and your leaguemates never see them.
- The people who run Big Dawg Fantasy can see account details, feedback and how the app is used, to run it and to help you.
- Companies that run parts of the app for us: Amazon Web Services hosts the app and its data in the United States, and Google handles sign-in. When you use a feature that needs one, Stripe handles payments, and outside services read screenshots, turn speech into text, and send email.
- Anyone the law requires us to tell.
- If Big Dawg Fantasy is sold or merges with another company, your data moves with it, under this policy.
Cookies and storage
We use cookies only to sign you in and keep you signed in. Your light or dark mode choice is saved in your browser. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you have an account, except screenshot text, which goes after 30 days. When your account is deleted, we cancel any subscription and delete everything saved to it, including your feedback. Copies in our backups are gone within 35 days.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything saved to it. Email privacy@bigdawgfantasy.com from the address you sign in with.
Age
Big Dawg Dynasty is for people 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you think someone under 18 has an account, email privacy@bigdawgfantasy.com and we’ll delete it.
Security
Your data travels over an encrypted connection and is stored in an encrypted database. We don’t store passwords, because you sign in with Google. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise nothing will ever go wrong.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and its date. For a big change, we also tell you in the app.
